Pike Co, MS (August 22, 2022) – A woman lost her life Thursday, August 19, in Pike County. The wreck happened on a highway in the afternoon hours, according to reports. The deceased victim was identified as Mary Barrett, 79, of Liberty.
The crash involved three vehicles including a Chevy Silverado pickup, a Chevrolet Impala, and a Dodge Ram. Police said the Dodge Ram collided with Barrett’s car at the crash scene.
Barrett lost her life at the scene. Authorities in Pike County are still investigating what caused the incident to occur.
