Pisgah, MS (December 9, 2023) – A car accident near Pisgah in Rankin County left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital on Thursday, December 7. Local news sources report the incident occurred on Stump Ridge Road under circumstances that remain unclear at this time. Three individuals were ejected from the vehicle after it left the roadway, police said. Several responders worked in the area for an extended period, resulting in significant traffic delays.
