Richland, MS (November 30, 2022) – Two 18-wheelers were involved in a traffic accident late on Tuesday, November 29, that ended in injuries for one person. Reports show the wreck occurred at the Old Highway 49 intersection.
Reports indicate the incident took place when two semi-trucks collided for reasons still investigated by area police. One person suffered injuries in the crash. They were treated by paramedics on-site and taken to a local hospital for further care.
The intersection was closed Wednesday morning while emergency crews worked to clear the wreckage from the roadway. The cause of the crash is under investigation by local police at this time.
