Ridgeland, MS (February 15, 2023) – Police in Ridgeland were notified of a car accident with injuries on the morning of February 15. At approximately 8:25 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the scene on I-220.
Multiple responders were dispatched to the crash site on Interstate 220’s ramp to I-55 Northbound. A vehicle was overturned in a ditch at the scene.
At least one person was in need of emergency medical care and transportation to the hospital. At this time, the extent of the injuries suffered in the crash has not been reported.
Traffic delays ensued in the area while first responders worked to secure the roadway. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
