Roxie, MS – Joe Robinson, 87, Killed in House Fire on Sycamore St in Fayette

Roxie, MS (March 19, 2023) – A man lost his life in a house fire in Jefferson County on the morning of March 18. At approximately 6:00 a.m., fire crews went to the scene in Fayette to render aid. 

According to information provided by local reports, the accident took place on Sycamore Street. Joe Robinson, 87, lost his life in the blaze. Another man and woman suffered severe burns, sources said. 

What started the fire is currently under investigation by local police. At this time, few other details are available to report concerning the incident.
