Southaven, MS (November 29, 2021) – On Monday, November 29, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Southaven.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-55 around the area of Rasco Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the northbound lanes of traffic for a period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
