Southaven, MS (April 17, 2022) – On Sunday afternoon, April 17, an injury crash took place at an intersection in Southaven.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the afternoon hours at the intersection of MS-302 and Tchulahoma Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
