Spring Arbor, MS (November 1, 2022) – Two drivers sustained serious injuries on the afternoon of Thursday, October 27 when a semi ran a red light and collided with two passing vehicles in Spring Arbor Township.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the crash site at about 12:23 p.m. on October 27. The wreck occurred at the intersection of Spring Arbor Road near Reynolds Road in Spring Arbor, west of Jackson, according to information provided by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrived at the scene to find a semi-truck headed west on Spring Arbor Road had driven through a stop light and collided with two vehicles at the intersection. Two drivers suffered severe injuries determined to be non-life-threatening. They were transported to Henry Ford Jackson Hospital for treatment, according to information from reports.
The roadway was closed while emergency crews worked in the area. Police continue to investigate.
