Starkville, MS (September 7, 2021) – At 9:54 p.m. on the night of Sunday, September 5, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Louisville Street and Lynn Lane. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. There were delays until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
