Starkville, MS (October 7, 2021) – At 1:20 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, October 7, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police officials, the accident happened on MS-12 in front of Mississippi Title Loans. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the collision were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
