Starkville, MS (March 19, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place at an intersection in Starkville on Saturday morning, March 19.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Locksley Way and Lincoln Green. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
