Starkville, MS (September 13, 2021) – At 9:30 a.m. on Monday morning, September 13, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of MS-12 and Garrard Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
