Starkville, MS (November 18, 2021) – At 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, November 18, a car crash with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of MS-12 and Barnes Crossing. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the westbound lanes for a period of time.
