Starkville, MS (November 10, 2021) – At 4:05 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 9, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened on Bailey Howell Drive. Several vehicles were traveling on the roadway in the area when one or more lost control. This caused the vehicles to collide with each other forcefully. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. At least one person was reportedly injured as a result of the accident. The wounded victim was rushed to the hospital, though their condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
