Starkville, MS (November 1, 2021) – At 1:40 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, October 31, a car crash with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of MS-182 and North Long Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
