Starkville, MS (April 20, 2022) – Injuries resulted from a serious car accident that took place on a highway in Starkville on Wednesday afternoon, April 20.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened on MS-12 in front of the local Applebee’s restaurant. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained heavy damage as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were immediately hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. Police urged those in the area to use caution until the scene was fully cleared.
