Starkville, MS (February 16, 2023) – Police and other responders were sent to the scene of a car crash in Starkville on the afternoon of February 14. Shortly before 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the incident occurred on Martin Luther King Drive. 

Reports show the wreck happened on Martin Luther King Drive near Reed Road. Two vehicles collided in the area and injured those involved. What caused the accident to occur is currently being investigated by local authorities. 

Medics rendered emergency aid to those injured before transporting individuals with extensive injuries to local hospitals. The identities of the injured parties remain unknown at this time. 

The intersection was blocked while crews worked at the scene. Local drivers were forced to alternate their routes due to the crash.
