Starkville, MS (September 27, 2021) – At 6 p.m. on Sunday evening, September 26, a car crash with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Horseshoe Circle and MS-12. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to become severely damaged. The damaged vehicles were towed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. Two ambulances took victims to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
