Starkville, MS (January 22, 2022) – On Saturday afternoon, January 22, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Starkville.
Starkville Police confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of MS-12 and Russell Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The accident was so forceful that it led to severe damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was partially blocked for some time. This led to delays until officials completely cleared the scene.
