Sunflower County, MS (March 29, 2023) – Crews were dispatched to the scene of an accident in Sunflower County on the afternoon of March 29. Shortly after 2:00 p.m., the crash happened on MS 3.
Police report the wreck took place on MS 3 near US 82 between an unspecified number of vehicles. Injuries resulted from the accident, and paramedics helped those in need of medical care at the scene.
One or more patients were taken to the hospital to be treated for the injuries they sustained in the accident. At this time, their names have not been reported.
Authorities in Sunflower County continue to investigate.
