Tyler, MS (July 24, 2022) – Five people were tragically killed in a car wreck reported on a highway in Smith County. The incident happened on July 22, Friday.
At approximately 5:00 a.m., responders were sent to County Road 48 for reports of a two-vehicle collision. They arrived at the scene, located near Van Highway just outside of Tyler, to find five people who had lost their lives in a wreck.
What caused the accident to occur is under investigation by local officials. The deceased victims have not been identified at this time.
