Union County, MS (April 22, 2023) – On the night of April 22, shortly after 10:00 p.m., police and paramedics went to the scene of an auto accident in Union County. The collision took place for reasons still being investigated by local authorities, reports said.
The accident occurred on Interstate 22 before MS 30/West New Albany. All lanes of the interstate were blocked while emergency crews worked in the area.
One or more injured parties were treated at the hospital after being transported by ambulance from the crash scene. Their identities have not been reported at this time.
