Vaughan, MS – Jaytria Griffins Killed in Head-On Crash at MS-16 & Berryville Rd

Vaughan, MS (May 12, 2023) – One person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in the Vaughan area on Tuesday morning, May 9. 

The deadly collision took place at the intersection of MS-16 and Berryville Road in Yazoo County at around 6 a.m. Local reports revealed that 21-year-old Jaytria Griffins was driving a 2008 BMW westbound when he collided with an eastbound 2008 Dodge Ram pickup truck. Griffins suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

No other injuries were reported in the crash. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
