Vicksburg, MS (April 9, 2023) – A serious car crash was reported to police in Vicksburg on the morning of April 7. At approximately 6:16 a.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of the accident on US 82.
Sources say the wreck happened on US 82 near MS 454 between an unspecified number of vehicles. One of the vehicles involved overturned as a result of the accident.
One or more people suffered injuries due to the crash. Those with extensive injuries were transported to local hospitals by paramedics.
Police asked local motorists to use alternate routes while emergency responders worked in the area. No further information has been reported at this time.
