Vicksburg, MS (September 05, 2022) – A driver and two passengers were thrown from their vehicle during a rollover accident in the southbound lanes of Highway 61 in the area of Jeff Davis Road on Sunday, September 4th at about 7:30 p.m.
All three victims were transferred to nearby hospitals for immediate medical treatment. One was med-flighted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center with traumatic injuries including what officials said was “an obviously broken femur”.
Mississippi Highway Patrol, Vicksburg Fire Department, Sheriff’s deputies, and Warren County Fire Department all responded to the scene.
