Wayne County, MS (June 10, 2023) – A fatal two-car accident happened in Wayne County on Monday night, June 5. At approximately 10:30 p.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene of the accident to help those involved.
Reports show the incident occurred on Highway 84 when two cars crashed for reasons still being investigated. Stephen Walker, 46, and Bennie R. Hinton, 66, lost their lives in the collision that happened for reasons still under police investigation.
Information provided by local reports shows MHP responded to the scene after receiving reports of a 2012 Toyota Prius and a 2005 Chevrolet Blazer that had been involved in a collision. Both drivers, Walker and Hinton, sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
