Waynesboro, MS (August 27, 2022) – A fatal car accident happened in Waynesboro on the night of August 25. At around 8:00 p.m., responders were sent to the scene of the wreck to render aid to injured victims.
According to information provided by officials, the accident took place on Shubuta Road. A teenager was driving on Shubuta Road when they were involved in a crash. What led to the incident remains under police investigation at this time.
A woman present in one of the vehicles lost her life in the accident. A man also sustained injuries. Their names have not currently been released.
At this time, authorities in Waynesboro continue to investigate the details of the incident.
