Yalobusha County, MS (November 15, 2023) – Police in Mississippi confirmed that one person lost their life and one other individual suffered injuries in a traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Yalobusha County. The collision reportedly took the life of 58-year-old Clarson J. Carter. A passenger who was not identified suffered injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Information from police shows that the vehicle was headed south on Interstate 55 when, for unknown reasons, it left the roadway and struck a bridge. Police in Yalobusha County are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
