Yazoo County, MS (September 17, 2022) – A 21-year-old Mississippi resident lost her life in a head-on crash on Tuesday, September 13. The accident was reported on Anding Oil City Road near Spires Lane.
Emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to extract the woman from the wreckage, according to local news reports. She was later pronounced deceased by paramedics.
The woman was identified as Cassie Beliew. Police continue to investigate the details surrounding the fatal accident.
The other involved individuals have not been identified at this time. The roadway was blocked while emergency responders worked in the area.
