Yazoo County, MS (April 8, 2023) – Police in Yazoo County responded to the scene of a two-car accident that sent one person to the hospital. The accident occurred on April 6 at approximately 11:30 p.m.
Reports indicate the wreck occurred on Interstate 55 near mile marker 135. Police say a 2018 Infiniti collided with a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox for reasons still under police investigation.
The driver of the Infiniti was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson with injuries of an unknown magnitude. Passengers in the Equinox suffered minor injuries.
Police in Yazoo County continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
