Oxford, MS (August 13, 2022) – A serious car crash happened in Oxford on the afternoon of August 12. One or more people suffered injuries in the collision and required emergency assistance at the scene.
According to officials, the crash happened on Jackson Avenue West near Renasant Bank. Those involved in the incident sustained injuries, however, the total number of injured victims has not been reported at this time.
Ambulances, police vehicles, and other emergency crews were observed in the area. Paramedics assisted those with injuries and transported extensively injured parties to local hospitals as needed.
Traffic was backed up while emergency crews worked to secure the crash site. Few other details are currently available to report.
