Meridian, MS (February 16, 2023) – An adult and a baby were hurt in an accident in Meridian just before midnight on Wednesday, February 15, according to information from police.
Several agencies were dispatched to the scene of the crash to render aid. According to reports, a vehicle crashed into a house on Hall Road for reasons still under investigation.
Authorities report the vehicle was occupied by four people, including one adult and three children. The injured adult and child were transported to a hospital in Jackson for treatment.
The other children were sent to a hospital in Meridian for evaluation and were released a short time later.
At this time, the names of the involved parties have not been reported. Police in Lauderdale County continue to investigate the details of the crash.
