Hattiesburg, MS (March 26, 2023) – Shortly before 6:00 p.m. on March 24, police in Hattiesburg were sent to the scene of an auto accident in Marion County. At least one person suffered injuries in the incident, reports said. 

Official investigations revealed that vehicles crashed on MS 13. The incident resulted in police closing the roadway near Kens Lane in order to allow for responders to work at the scene. 

Emergency medical technicians were seen caring for injured victims at the wreck site. Patients in need of further medical attention were taken to area hospitals.
