Brookhaven, MS (August 17, 2023) – A fatal motorcycle accident happened in Brookhaven on Saturday, August 12. Just after 12:30 p.m., several responders went to the scene of the incident on Highway 550.
Troopers report the incident took place on Highway 550 near Dunn Ratcliff Road. A 2012 GMC Sierra was headed east on the highway when it crashed into a 1985 Honda motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was identified as Michael Falvey, age 50. He was taken by ambulance to King’s Daughters Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Authorities in Brookhaven are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
