Jackson, MS (October 11, 2023) – At least one person was hurt in a crash that happened in Jackson on the evening of October 11. Responders went to the crash site at around 10:19 to render aid and investigate.
Sources say the incident occurred on Interstate 55 just past Woodrow Wilson Avenue. Two or more vehicles collided in the area, blocking all lanes of traffic and causing injuries.
Paramedics helped those who were hurt at the scene and took them to the hospital by ambulance. At this time, however, the extent of the injuries suffered in the accident has not been reported.
Authorities in Hinds County continue to investigate.
