Jones County, MS (November 12, 2023) – A truck accident happened in Jones County on the morning of November 10 that resulted in injuries and traffic delays. Responders went to the scene shortly before 10:00 a.m. to help the people involved and determine how the crash occurred.
Sources say the collision took place on Mississippi Route 590 near Crosby Road. According to reports, a semi-truck overturned in the area. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the wreck.
Emergency crews including EMTs, police, and fire crews were seen helping at the crash site. All lanes were blocked in both directions for an extended time period on Friday.
Authorities in Jones County continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
