DeSoto County, MS (February 8, 2024) – An auto accident happened in DeSoto County on the evening of February 6 that caused injuries.
Reports show the incident occurred just before 5:00 p.m., and involved two or more vehicles. Police and EMTs went to the scene on Interstate 55 near Mississippi Route 304 to help the people involved in the wreck and determine how it happened. At least one person was treated and taken to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. Local motorists were forced to find alternative routes of travel while emergency responders were present in the area, causing substantial delays in traffic.
