Gulfport, MS (February 12, 2023) – A pedestrian crash happened in Gulfport on February 8. At approximately 1:30 p.m., emergency personnel was sent to the accident scene on Pass Road.
Responders arrived at the scene, located at the intersection of Pass Road and 24th Avenue, to find a pedestrian who had been hit by a car. EMS treated the victim at the scene and transported them to a local hospital for further evaluation and care.
Currently, the name of the injured victim has not been reported. Police in Gulfport are still working to figure out the cause of the incident.
Drivers in the area were asked to expect delays and use an alternate route while the scene was active with responders.
