Hattiesburg, MS (February 19, 2023) – In the early morning of February 19, a car crash happened in Hattiesburg that required an emergency response. First responders were dispatched to the scene of the incident in order to render aid and investigate.
Information from preliminary reports shows the incident took place on Interstate 59 near Monroe Road. An unknown number of cars collided and caused injuries.
One or more injured patients were transported to the hospital from the crash scene. Their identities have not been reported at this time.
Police in Hattiesburg are still working to determine the cause of the accident. Traffic delays ensued in the area while crews worked to secure the scene.
