Hinds County, MS (January 26, 2024) – Police in Hinds County were sent to the scene of a car accident on the night of January 26 that caused injuries. Reports from authorities show the wreck occurred on Interstate 20 near Ellis Avenue. All westbound lanes of the interstate were closed while emergency responders were present in the area, forcing local motorists to use alternative routes of travel. At least one individual required emergency medical care at the wreck site, however, no one involved has been identified at this time. Police in Hinds County are still working to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
