Horn Lake, MS (February 27, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Horn Lake on Sunday afternoon, February 27.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officials confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of MS-302 and Mallard Creek Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the junction at the same time, triggering the collision. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
