Jackson, MS (September 2, 2023) – An injury accident occurred in Jackson on Saturday evening, September 2. Several responders went to the scene to help those involved shortly after it occurred.
According to reports, the wreck took place on Interstate 55 near St. Dominic’s. Capitol Police responded to the scene, where they were met with a tow truck and an ambulance. Members of the Jackson Fire Department were also seen rendering aid at the crash site.
The injured victim was treated by paramedics and taken to the hospital for further care. Their name has not been released at this time.
Police in Jackson are still investigating the details of the accident.
