Jackson, MS – One Killed in Collision on I-94 near Dearing Rd

Jackson, MS (October 8, 2023) – A man lost his life in a fatal collision in Jackson on Friday morning, October 6. The incident happened in Sandstone Township at approximately 9:00 a.m., according to information provided by police. 

Reports concerning the crash reveal that the male driver was heading east along Interstate 94 when he entered into a construction zone. While passing through the area, he was involved in a crash with a tanker truck. Several responders were seen rendering aid at the wreck site a short time after it occurred. 

Paramedics pronounced the man deceased on-site. At this time, his name has not been released.
