Jones County, MS (February 22, 2024) – Approximately 20 vehicles were involved in a huge collision on a highway in Jones County on Wednesday morning, February 21.
The incident happened at around 6:30 a.m. Nine people were tended to by EMS at the scene, located on Highway 84. Police in Jones County report that 18-wheelers and one overturned log truck were involved in the accident. One individual had to be extricated from their vehicle at the scene. Currently, authorities in Jones County are working to determine how the accident occurred. No other details have been reported at this time.
