Marion County, MS (September 29, 2023) – On the morning of September 28, Friday, a serious car accident was reported to police in Marion County. Reports from authorities show the crash occurred at around 8:23 a.m.
Sources report the incident took place on US 98 near the junction with Mississippi Route 587. All westbound lanes of the roadway were blocked while emergency responders were present on the roadway.
At least one individual was hurt in the collision, however, the extent of those injuries remains unknown at this time. Paramedics transported those with severe injuries to the hospital by ambulance.
