Oxford, MS – Car Wreck with Injuries on Courthouse Sq near First National Bank

Oxford, MS (July 19, 2022) – A car wreck with injuries happened in Oxford on the evening of July 19. Just before 6:00 a.m., responders were sent to the scene on Courthouse Square.

According to reports, the wreck occurred in Courthouse Square near the First National Bank. One or more people were hurt in the crash. The total number of vehicles involved was not reported.

At least one person was rendered emergency medical aid at the scene. Police and paramedics were seen helping those involved and transporting injured victims to local hospitals as needed.

Delays in traffic were seen in the area shortly after the wreck took place. Authorities in Oxford continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
