Oxford, MS (April 11, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place on a roadway in Oxford on Monday afternoon, April 11.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened at 1603 Jackson Avenue in front of Domino’s Pizza. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt in the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
