Oxford, MS (September 4, 2022) – A car accident happened in Oxford on the morning of September 4 that required an emergency dispatch. At approximately 1:45 a.m., responders were sent to the scene of an accident on South Lamar Boulevard.
Reports concerning the wreck show that it occurred in the 1400 block of South Lamar Boulevard near Marathon. An unknown number of vehicles collided in the area and injured at least one person.
Paramedics treated injured victims at the crash scene and transported at least one person to a local medical center for treatment. What caused the collision remains unknown at this time.
