Oxford, MS (July 20, 2022) – Police in Oxford were called to the scene of a major car wreck on the evening of July 20. Just after 5:20 p.m., EMTs and other responders arrived at the scene of the crash on Jackson Avenue West.
Sources say the accident occurred near Chick-Fil-A in the 2300 block of Jackson Avenue West. What led up to the collision is under police investigation at this time.
At least one person was hurt in the wreck and rendered emergency medical aid at the accident site. Paramedics treated those with injuries and transported seriously injured patients to local hospitals for further assistance as necessary.
At this time, authorities in Oxford are still investigating the details of the crash.
