Pearl River County, MS (August 27, 2023) – A car crash was reported to police in Pearl River County in the early morning hours of August 26. At least one person was hurt in the accident that took place at around 1:09 a.m.
Several responders went to the scene to help the people involved in the accident. Reports show it happened on MS 43 near Otis Stewart Road. Vehicles crashed in the area under currently unknown circumstances.
EMS rendered aid to the injured parties at the scene, however, at this time, the extent of the injuries suffered in the collision remains under police investigation.
Responders stayed at the crash site for an extended time period on August 27, causing notable traffic delays.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
